Is Penny Arcade Monitoring Us like the NSA?

SEATTLE, WA – Is Penny Arcade spying on the general public, like the NSA? Our sources say YES!

Recent visits to the Penny Arcade and PAX websites have revealed tracking systems and cookies being used to keep track of when users visit the website and what pages they go to. Could this be just the beginning of a larger conspiracy to monitor user activity on the internet? When reached for comment, Jerry “Tycho” Holkins confirmed the use of the site’s tracking software. “Of course, we use tracking systems just like everyone else. What are you people talking about?” We are left wondering what else Penny Arcade may be hiding.

Could this go further, say to moderation of the site? When reached for comment under the promise of anonymity, a Penny Arcade forum moderator said “Of course we’re moderating the forums. What the hell do you think I do all day on here?” Another moderator informed us “We provide moderation services for the forums. I’m in a great position to provide forum moderation, being bad myself, I know when others are being bad.”

We’ll provide more details on this scandal as they become available.
